What's the Mana?

Our practice draws inspiration from the word “Mana,” which carries deep spiritual and cultural meanings across various religions and traditions.

  • In Polynesian culture, Mana represents a powerful life force that flows through all living things, symbolizing spiritual energy, inner strength, and connection to the universe. This resonates with our approach to therapy, where we help clients tap into their personal resilience and power.

  • In Arabic, Mana translates to “meaning,” reflecting our commitment to helping clients find deeper purpose and significance in their healing journey.

  • Across both Islam and Christianity, Manna is seen as the miraculous sustenance provided to the Israelites during their desert journey. In the Quran and the Bible, Manna represents divine provision and care. We work to empower clients to harness their own inner strength and resilience, guiding them as they cultivate the tools for healing and growth.

  • In Sanskrit, Mana refers to the mind or thought, reflecting the importance of mental clarity and mindfulness in healing. This ties into our holistic approach, which integrates the mind, body, and spirit in the therapeutic process.

  • In Buddhism, Mana can be seen as ego or pride, which reminds us to reflect on the balance between self-awareness and humility—key components of emotional growth and well-being.
